During their first term at school pupils will be offered an initial medical screening by the School Nurse when height, weight, sight and hearing are checked.
Dental inspections are undertaken annually and should dental work be necessary parents will be informed by letter and advised to see their dentist.
The school supports the "Bug Busting" scheme for the prevention and treatment of head lice.
The School Nurse holds "drop in" sessions for parents with concerns about their child's health and is always available to answer telephone queries.
